Triple Crown Real Estate was developed by Centex between 1996 and 1999.
Triple Crown can be divided into 5 different areas and there are approximately 554 homes in Triple Crown. When you first enter Triple Crown Real Estate, you will notice a gorgeous tall bronze statue of several horses. As you enter this beautiful tree-lined community, you will notice the subdivisions of Triple Crown named after famous horse races — such as Preakness, Belmont or Churchill Downs, horse races that bring along much the same prestige as the Kentucky Derby. You will even notice the floor plans of the homes in Triple Crown, Scottsdale, AZ named after famous horses. For instance, Gate Dancer, a thoroughbred horse that raced between 1981 and 1998. Gate Dancer won the American Classic Race, the Preakenss Stakes.

The reason for this all becomes clear when you realize that Triple Crown used to be a horse farm before it turn into a subdivision. And a beautiful subdivision it is. The streets are lined with beautiful trees and children’s playgrounds and basketball courts are seen throughout the community.

• Belmont 1 and Belmont 2 at Triple Crown is located just east of N. Tatum Blvd. and just north of E. Robert E Lee St.
• Just to the east of Belmont at Triple Crown is Churchill Downs also located between Robert E Lee to the south and the canal to the north and between N 52nd Street and 53rd St.
• Preakness at Triple Crownis s located to the south of East Robert E. Lee St.
• Delmar at Triple Crown is located between Grovers Avenue and Robert E Lee.

Churchill Downs has several different floor plans. There is the La Palma basement home which stands at a massive 4275 square feet. There is the Citation basement home which stands at 4090 square feet. The Citation floor plan without a basement stands at 3175 square feet. Sonny’s Halo a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom home, stands at just under 3000 square feet.. Thunder Gulch, a four-bedroom 3 bathroom home, stands at slightly above 3000 square feet.

Delmar at Triple Crown, built in 1998, also has some impressive floor plans. Premier Majesty is a nearly 2700 square-foot home. Crown appeal is 1881 square feet. Derby magic is a two-story home at approximately 2400 square feet. Preakness at Triple Crown, built in 1997, has the following floor plans. Prairie Bayou, a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom home, stands at 2100 square feet. Gate Dancer stands at just under 2500 square feet. Timber Country stands at around 2700 square feet. Secretarian stands at slightly under 3000 ft.².

Belmont at Triple Crown houses the smaller homes in the community. The floor plans include Bold Forbes at 1659 square feet. Risen Star at 1723 square feet and Riva Ridge at approximately 1500 square feet. Belmont at Triple Crown is a gated community with a community pool.

There are several children playgrounds and Triple Crown. Triple Crown is a very family oriented kid friendly community. Triple Crown is just to the northwest of copper Canyon elementary school the other schools that feed into the community include sunrise middle school and horizon high school. Triple Crown is located just north of the moon Valley nursery. It’s also located just south of Desert Ridge and practically across the street from the famous Musical Instrument Museum. Those who live in Triple Crown enjoy the commute the convenience of price food and drugs located just to the south and Desert Ridge Shopping Mall located just to the north. Horse Lovers Park is also just to the North, on the west side of Tatum.
